COME FROM LOVE - The Story Behind the Song
Many years ago, I heard a predawn whisper in my ear, and even felt the warmth of the breath of the male voice who delivered this message: "Be part of the solution, not part of the problem." I woke up with a start, fully expecting to see someone bending over my bed. At that time, I lived alone, and my bedroom showed no signs of another human being anywhere. I took it as a type of instructions, delivered to me from beyond my rational mind. I have tried to live my life with that message as my true direction ever since.
Where to go? What to do? Clearly, the only safe harbor is the heart. From there, everything is possible. I wrote the lyrics to Come From Love to remind me to be part of the solution.
